1550 nm band 40 GHz Analog Intensity Modulator

The MXAN-LN-40 is a lithium niobate (LiNb03) intensity modulator designed for analog applications at frequencies up to 40 GHz.

The X-cut design of this Mach-Zehnder modulator confers it an unmatched stability in a wide range of operational conditions, as well as a zero chirp performance. Photline Technologies proprietary waveguide design offers a low insertion loss and the specific analog treatment guarantees a high rejection of harmonics. The MXAN-LN-40 is ideally suited for ultra high bandwidth analog communications such as RF over fiber and microwave photonics and is also a key device for a large variety of applications.
